Wetland Cordoba "Humedal Cordoba"
If you like the nature the places you should visit in Bogota the wetlands. The name in Spanish is Humedal. Some of them are dangerous places but there many of them that are safe. The safe wetlands are whose are closed by fence and some times with guards.
What to do or see:
If you want a really good guide of the wetland you should contact to Darwin (+57 3168651390), he had been a local interpreter and also was working with Botanical Garden in the wetland for more than 15 year. Or contact me (+573008264127) I am a local interpreter .The wetland has between 70 to 90 local and migratory bird species. In the visits with Darwin we have seen in just one day near to 40 different species. It depends on the time of the year you go. The migrations form North America to South America. It start in August and end in February and then the birds start to go back to the origin place between March and April.
The wetland has a path which is very nice, some parts in wood another in unpaved road. There is 4 viewpoints. In first viewpoint i could take these photos:

How to get to:
You can visit whenever you want the Wetland Cordoba. This wetland is one of the best to visit, this have 3 zones, but just one is closed by fence.Schedule: M-F 8am to 4 pm Sat -Sun -Holidays 8 am to 3 pm
Address: Avenida Suba No 116-70
You can arrive by Transmilenio, the closed station is Shaio. You go out from the north part of the station and cross the Suba avenue to the east and then cross the calle 116 and walk for east side of the Suba avenue pavement one block to the north.
